The celebration of Keyshia Cole‘s youngest son Tobias Khale turning one proved an event to remember.

The “Trust and Believe” singer joined alleged ex-boyfriend Niko Khale to celebrate their son’s special day this week. Cole took to Instagram on Tuesday, Aug. 4, and posted a series of pictures that showed her, baby Tobias, Khale and their loved ones clearly having the time of their lives at Tobias’ “Toy Story”- themed birthday party.

One image showed the songstress and her son waving to a crowd of people, while another showed Cole holding onto the toddler as he rode a pony.

Khale was also all smiles at their son’s birthday party. An adorable snap showed both the 24 year old and his son grinning from ear to ear as they posed for a pic together.

Cole and Khale didn’t post any family portraits of them together at the celebration, but fans noted that it was good to see the pair come together for their son.

“Beautiful family! ,” wrote one IG user. “How cute, Tobias had a Toy Story them. Happy birthday little guy.”

Cole and Khale haven’t addressed their alleged split and appear to be focusing on co-parenting their son.

The songstress celebrated the birthday of her cousin Marquisha Miller over the weekend and apparently had a blast. She took to Instagram on Saturday, Aug. 8, and kicked off her cousin’s birthday with a sweet birthday ode.

“I love you because you’re the coolest and downest Bish EVER when I’m sad You KNO what music to play, what to say to get me back in my BAG!” the “Let It Go” singer wrote. “When we BEEF, YOU NEVA TAKE IT TO THE INA-Net my flaws are safe with you!! And I love u boo! That’s LOVE HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOO!!!!”

Cole also posted a video of herself, Miller and two other friends jamming to Monica‘s 1995 hit single “Don’t Take It Personal.” Cole, however, stole the spotlight with her moves and began bobbing her head back and forth and swaying her arms in the air as she sat in the backseat of a friend’s car.

The 38-year-old mother looked absolutely gorgeous on camera. She wore a black and lace romper, diamond cross pendant and long black tendrils.

Former “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Keyshia Cole is finally on her way to closing the chapter on her divorce from her estranged husband, former NBA player Daniel Gibson.

According to court reports reportedly obtained by The Blast, the 38-year-old singer and her ex recently informed the court that they had reached a deal in their divorce. The settlement will cover the division of their marital property, custody of their son Daniel Gibson Jr., and support.

As previously reported, the “Let It Go” singer initially filed for divorce back in September 2017. The star cited irreconcilable differences for the split and listed the date of separation as Oct. 31, 2014. 

The four-time Grammy nominee and ex-Cleveland Cavaliers player were ordered by the judge presiding over their case to appear in court or else be fined. The judge argued that the pair had prolonged the proceedings long enough in what had been two years since the two initiated the divorce.

Documents stated that, at the time, the pair were required to appear in a Los Angeles County court for a hearing on March 16, 2020. “This is your FOURTH AND FINAL NOTICE,” the documents read.

In an Instagram post shared back in January 2019, Cole revealed her hopes to secure joint legal and physical custody of their 10-year-old son. The singer also explained that that factor was the cause behind her refusal to finalize their divorce. 

“I am not giving him full custody nor no damn spousal support! And I’ve asked him over and over to do so, the ball is in his court,” Cole explained. The star also noted she “rather not do it” publicly, “but the facts are the facts. And if he were trying to do things the right way, this would have been over.” Cole and Gibson tied the knot on May 21, 2011. The marriage collapsed after Gibson reportedly cheat on the singer.

Since their separation, both parties had since moved on to younger partners. Cole welcomed her second son, Tobias Khale, with her now-rumored ex-boyfriend, 24-year-old rapper Niko Khale. Meanwhile, Gibson is seemingly happy in love with his girlfriend, 24-year-old Sinfony Rosales.
